Give yourself a pat on the back America

If you know me at all, then you know I am not a lunatic tree-hugger. I do care about the planet and our environment, but I keep it all well within perspective and believe we should all make an effort not to make the situation worse. I also hear about how horrible the US is, because we are such big polluters. I can’t completely disagree with that. But, let me tell you…we are doing a helluva lot better than some places. US bashing is so draining and generally full of lies and half-truths. So, I am saying right now, that America deserves some credit. We aren’t perfect, but we are at least try.

Looks pretty nasty, huh? Not only is the environment being treated like a cheap whore…PEOPLE LIVE IN THESE CONDITIONS!!!! We should continue our efforts to keep America on the right track, but we should really put extra effort into making it global.
