Happy New Year!

2008 was a big piece of shit! I’m hoping and praying that 2009 will be better, not only for me and mine, but for you and yours as well.

I couldn’t have come back home at a better time. My family needed me. I feel blessed to be here with them and be able to help out in whatever small way I can.

My Dad feel down the stairs and broke his leg the week after we got here. He is out of the hospital, but now in a rehab facility. I can see now how hard it has been on my Mom trying to handle so much. Neither Blain, nor I have found employment yet and we are living on next to nothing, but I feel we have made the right decision. I would rather be dead broke, than not be able to be here for my family.

Good blessings to all this new year.

  1. I say we make 2009 our bitch. You in?

  2. Everything really does happen for a reason. I am so glad you are able to be with your parents! It would have been really hard for you to be in GA and only be able to talk to them on the phone. As for being broke, it helps to motivate us to do even bigger things and reminds us to never take our “normal” lives for granted. You guys are true survivors!!!! ILY!!!
