So it has been a week now that we have been back in the Salt Lake City. I’ve been busy, so no posts. This will have to be a catchup post.
The first night we got here, I got some kind of stomach bug, that has plagued me since! The 2nd day, I got a head/chest cold, that I am also still battling. Blain also got the cold and now Tal has the stomach crud too. So far Lula is the only one that has stayed healthy.
Last week was spent cleaning up and re-organizing my sis’s house. This week started the unpacking. Also the girls started back to school yesterday.
Of course we had to catch up with some of our favorite eateries. First, was Little Caesars Pizza. Had to have some crazy bread. They actually have a handful of Little Caesars in GA, but none in our area. Next was Italian Village, for some Bend Over Pie (aka – Pizza Bender). Oh, still so yummy!
Next was Training Table for REAL cheese fries and dipping sauce!!!
The best part so far was the bit of snow we got yesterday. Big, beautiful, fat flakes!
Of course, the kids had a snow ball fight and built a snow man. We all laughed that GA would have shut the entire state down, had it snowed like that there. The weather people are telling us we are supposed to get a pretty hefty storm this weekend. I hope it just dumps a ton of snow on us!
Lula is so excited for her field trip in Jan. to go skiing at Alta, she has made several new friends already, loves her new school and her new teacher. Tal has made some friends, got good classes and can’t wait to get to HS next year.
