I just want to say right now that I am deeply sorry about my negativity on yesterdays post. Please, Blog Karma Goddess, please know that I am so grateful for making it to Wyoming and I would appreciate your great blessings for the final leg of our trip tomorrow.

I would even try to be grateful for endless fields of corn, if I had the chance to do the day over. I must have really pissed you off yesterday, for you to give me extremely high winds today. Along with corn husk storms, kamikaze tumbleweeds, wind-blown, wiggly semi trucks and what not that triggered the panic attack I experienced WHILE driving under the above mentioned circumstances. I totally must have deserved the crying jag that followed in the McDonald’s parking lot, that was totally fun.

Thank you for allowing us to get as far as Cheyenne, WY. We were hoping for Laramie, but I am more than happy to be safe and cozy in my hotel room, while a very windy snow storm rages on outside my window.

I know I am asking a lot, but the forecast for tomorrow is looking just as bleak, I’m begging for a safe return to my home.
