I must have lost my mind! Or my laptop has made me crazy. Probably a little bit of both.
I can’t stand it anymore. Little by little, I keep having problems with my laptop. As previously mentioned, I blame it all on Microsoft Vista. In fact, these days I blame everything on Vista.
My toolbar is frozen…argh! Vista
It shouldn’t take this long to open a file…Stupid Vista
We’re out of milk…Vista sucks!
The world is coming to an end…Damn Vista!
Today is Saturday and I will be spending my day reinstalling my laptop. These are the steps I will have to take:
1. Back up everything on my hard drive
2. Pray that I didn’t miss backing up anything
3. Double check to make sure I didn’t miss anything
4. Insert my Vista DVD (I wanted to go back to XP, but after discussing the implications with my computer guru co-worker, I have decided against it at this time. It’s too complicated and could very likely cause me to many other problems.)
5. Pray fervently that I didn’t miss backing up anything
6. Wipe the hard drive
7. Re-install the evil Vista
8. Re-install all my programs
9. Re-install my backed up files
10. Beat my head on the pavement when I remember the files I did not remember to backup and now have lost forever.
See - 10 easy steps.
If all goes well, I will be back up and running by the end of the night.
BTW - I wrote this yesterday and set it to post today, just incase I eff everything up.
