Please, not again.
The company I am working for may have some issues. Issues that may or may not mean I have a slight possibility of being laid off at some point in the future. Issues that I can’t really get into, mainly because specifics about my job are taboo as far as blog posting goes. Blogging about job specifics is a really bad idea, just ask Dooce.
I like my job, even though I don’t like where it is geographically located. I like the people I work with, mostly. I like that I am learning LOTS of new stuff. Plus, the pay is good.
Here’s the deal. The last three companies I have worked for have laid me off. Not fired, laid off. Two because they were sold, they kept us just long enough after the buy outs and then laid us off. The other was due to loss of business after 9/11. I hate looking jobs. It’s brutal!
I am just hoping and praying everything works out.
Sorry to hear that…seein’ how this economy is dwindling first hand, heh? And tough to go to work knowing that’s out there too! Hang in there my friend!!
