Since I am one crazy, busy, working, bitch these days, it has been extremely hard to keep up with the blogging, so I have hatched an evil little plan. I generally stay up ungodly hours on the weekends, mostly to satisfy my need to be a vampires, but also to write multiple posts. For the past couple of weekends I have been spending time scrap booking, yes shocking I know. But, I have also tried to load up on some posts. So far tonight this is my seventh post, but rather than actually posting it, I am just saving them to be posted at a later date. It is nearly 4am and I plan to do at least a couple more. God only knows when I will actually post this one, we will all just have to wait and be surprised at the same time.
By, the way, I keep a blog notebook with me at all times that I jot down ideas in, so I have enough ideas to last me until next year some time.

Update: I am actually posting this about a week and a half after I originally wrote it. The post was good enough to stand on its own, but I have a reason to add additional information to it today. I got my first snarky comment! I was so excited and luckily who ever it was didn’t hammer me too hard. The comment was attached to this post, as a frame of reference, and was copied and pasted in its entirety here:

You have valid points (generally speaking) - but people who blog like this could really be taken more seriously if they learned to spell properly and use correct diction and syntax. The more blogs I read on the internet (especially the ones on theshapeofamother.com) the more shocked I am by the number of adults who do not know how to write correctly; using proper english. Go read some entries on that site and you will see what I mean.

I must rebut, of course!

1. I wrote the blog sometime between 3-4am, using my above outlined method, after many cups of coffee and very possibly feeling quite loopy, so cut me some insomniac slack! Geez!
2. How does this person know that this isn’t the way I actually speak? Maybe I speak in misspelled words and say poor grammar! Hmmm…what about that? Or maybe I use poor grammar to emphasis my points?
3. Until Random House options a book from me with a million dollar advance, I refuse to represent myself as a professional writer. I am a blogger just trying to voice my opinions and some times I get sloppy. Oops!
4. I am notoriously known for not using spell or grammar check because when I am not ranting in the wee hours of the morning I am generally very good at it. (Don’t pick apart this blog either; I should be in bed right now.) Also, please don’t tell my boss since a good portion of my salary is based on my written communication skills. Hee hee, burns ya up doesn’t it!
5. You can’t intimidate me with your big words like diction and syntax. I know the meaning of those words and I’m not afraid to throw them around anymore than you are.
6. This bullet point is just a suggestion for this person or those others of you wanting to post comments on this site or any other site…Don’t bag on some one else’s spelling and grammar skills if you don’t have the skills yourself. Notice the above highlighted word (remember I did not change anything here, you can go look at the original comment to see for yourself). English is a proper noun and should be capitalized. Ha! So there! (I’m sticking out my tongue now) Nanny, nanny, boo, boo! Even I know that!
7. Thanks for saying that I had valid points, that was very sweet of you.

It is really working out for me to stock pile the posts. They are all things I would write about any way, it just helps me out until I calm my schedule down. I made the exception tonight for obvious reasons. I also went back and checked the post in question, laughed hysterically at my blatant errors and corrected them. To bad I can’t blame it on “Drogging” - Drunk Blogging: which is the same as drunk dialing (Drialing) or drunk texting (Drexting). All equally heinous communication crimes with long lasting regretful repercussions. And that was just a fragmented sentence. Guess what? I left it that way on purpose to drive anally retentive grammarians and linguists stark raving mad…go read gramlee.com the grammar blog, ya dusty old fart. I also added way too many exclamation points! and ellipses (the dot, dot dots…for the layman) to this post, just ‘cause I can and you can’t stop me. :)

Hey, that was fun…Keep those comments coming!
