Although my girly inner bits were ripped out about a year and a half ago, I still get the dreaded monthly PMS. This is my week. Trust me I can handle it a lot better now that I am not walking around like a slashing victim, but I still want to slowly peel the skin off the faces of a few choice individuals. (as I am typing this my little Lula is reading along…her comment to my last statement, “Is it me?”, with a very sad look on her face and serious worry in her voice. She’s is lucky today and now she is just giggling.) This month has been particularly bad. Cranky, bloated, ravenous and my breasticles feel like they have been sneeking out at night, getting into fits and not winning.
The other day I figured out that I have gained nearly 10 pounds since starting my job a month and a half ago. WTF?? I can only figure it out one way. I am eating a regular breakfast, lunch and dinner, which I haven’t been doing for like 2 years. Plus, I tend to need a snack in the afternoon or someone will be in fear of losing their tasty little fingers. So, I reason that it is good that I caught it before it got too out of control and I really need to watch what I eat. Easier said than done when all I want this week is chocolate cake.
Talin to the rescue! She made desert tonight. Chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with carmel. Mmmmm….!! Yummy! How could I resist. I was weak and indulged.
My diet starts next week.
