Then don’t say anything

I know it has been some time since my last post. Here’s the thing, I just haven’t had anything nice to say. Anthing that I would have posted would just be full of piss and vinegar with lots of cussing.

We are still not sure where we are going to live! Yes, believe it or not, we are still on the hunt for a hosue…sort of. Almost two weeks ago we stumbled across the perfect house for us. We made an appointment with the realtor who was nice enough to come out at 7pm on a Sunday night to show us the place. We had already seen one earlier in the day that we thought we would get, but just wanted to look at this last one before we made up our minds. Sure enough, the last house we saw showed us some major love! We told her we wanted it and gave her all the necessary info. She said an agent from another broker had this house and she would have to get all the info to her. Seems simple enough, right? Oh, hell no!!! Two weeks later and we still have not gotten the final go ahead. The application is done, the credit was pulled, the current landlord was contacted, the sherriff’s department was contacted about the “incident”, the deposit and 1st month check was given! WTF?????

The home owner lives in Florida and still has a few personal items in the house and she needs to give the final OK and come up here to get her stuff out. My agent keeps saying that everything looks good to go, but still no FINAL GODDAMN OK from the other agent.

See what did I tell you? Piss and vinegar!

I am trying to remain optomistic while I sit in a house that is half way packed up. Waiting…

The house has a big brass dragon fly door knocker…it loves me and wants me to live in it…it told me so.
