Labor Day marks the end of our busy season. Yeah! and boo! all at the same time. Yeah because I am worn the hell out by now and Boo because we are done making the big money and now is the time I have to catch up on everything neglected over the summer. We will still have some rentals here and there, mosty on the weekends as long as the weather holds out. We got lucky last year and rented all the way through Oct 20th. Hopefully, it will stay warm for awhile. We will also be renting the houseboat out throughout the winter, so that will keep us somewhat busy occupied. Tomorrow will be the second day that have closed the office since April 1st. It will be so nice to have a day off! Too bad we have to still get up at the crack to take those pesky kids to school. But, we will be back at it on Wednesday.
First thing I need to do…torch clean my house out. During the summer, it gets picked up on a regular basis, but doesn’t get much in the deep clean department. I also need to get rid of a bunch of crap. I tend to get clostrphobic when I get too much crap laying around. Time for a yard sale and ebay listings! I also need to work on a project I am doing for my Dad…scrapbooking all of his photos! Huge project, but this one will be fun. I am so thinking about getting a real job over the winter, not something I am entirely excited about.
