Christmas in an August heat wave

My kids don’t always think it all the way through, but you got to give them credit for having some imagination.

Because of the heat wave we have continued to endure, the second story of our house has been brutally hot. The A/C runs all day non-stop, but just keep up. The girls rooms are upstairs and Blain was feeling sorry for them having to try to sleep in the heat. He brought home and industrial type of fan/blower. Its difficult to explain how it looks (duh! should have taken a picture of it instead of trying to explain it, but I am being lazy right now). The opening where the air is forced out is about 5×2″ wide and really kicks.

So yeah, my little darlings are supposed to upstairs cleaning their rooms the other day and get a brilliant idea. “Let’s make it snow!” Sounds cool enough, except that they used baby powder as the snow!! So instead of snow, it looked a whole hell of a lot more like smoke. That then settled to look like a whole hell of a lot of dust! Cleaning up just got a whole lot harder. DORKS!!!!
