My other obsession

As I mentioned previously, I am totally obsessed with postsecret.com. But, I can only get new content on that site once a week, so what am I to do the other six days, browse eBay endlessly?

For about two years I have also been obsessed with dooce.com. This particular blog is written by this crazy ex-mormon chick that lives in Salt Lake City. She writes about things that occur in her everyday life, which doesn’t sound all too inviting, but it is her style of writing that gets me. First off, I can totally relate to her comments about the mormons, which are always funny yet never ruthless. Secondly, I can relate to the entries about living in Salt Lake in general and the craziness we call motherhood. She makes me laugh.

Not only does she write entries daily most days, she also takes and posts a picture every day (usually of her daughter or hubby, etc.). However, probably my most favorite part of her blog…she takes a picture of her dog, Chuck, every day. Now, y’all know that I love my dogs and think they are the best on the planet…but Chuck kicks ass (sorry sissah, there goes my potty mouth again I wish Chuck could be cloned, so I can have my very own. The girls have also grown fond of Chuck and often ask to have me show them the latest pics.
