They don’t call it “Hotlanta” for nothing! Good God, we have been embroiled in a record breaking heat wave for what seems like forever. I am not new to temperatures over 100, coming from Utah and Arizona, but there really is a huge difference between dry heat and humidity laden heat!
This along with humidity is down right WRONG! The photo below was taken two days ago in Blain’s truck. The highest we saw it that day was 112. Keep in mind that the humidity makes it feel hotter than what the thermometor reads. Also keep in mind that we were parked on asphalt at the time, so it was hotter there as well.

We haven’t let the dogs out much for the past week because I don’t want the poor little suckers to roast to death.
