Updates

I know, I know. I went several weeks without blogging. Summer is hell for me, but it has lightened up a bit in the last week. So here is a summary:
Me: I ended up not sticking to the whole no smoking thing. It was really silly of me to think that I could try to quit smoking right in the middle of my busy season. So I have a new plan…wait for summer to end and get the kids back in school. Hopefully, life will be much less stressful at that point.
Business: The new houseboat rental company is up and running and not doing too badly. We also met with a manufacturer in KY a few weeks ago to discuss some new rental houseboats and possible dealership. Will have to see where that goes. We are a bit slow this year on the boat/jetski rentals. Not 100% sure why, still trying to figure it out.
Tal: She is still trying to get her hormones in check. She is only evil part of the time now. Not only does she work for us, she also got a job at a BBQ place on the weekends washing dishes, makes $6/hr…not too shabby. She is practicing several hours per week for the high school cheer team and is also starting on another All Star cheer team. Keeps her busy and out of my face!
Lula: She is busy trying to piss off Tal, watching Nickelodeon and playing her Game Cube. That’s about it for now. We are waiting to see what kind of fall sport she wants to sign up for.
Blain: He is busy trying to piss me off.
Nero & Kitty: They have been quite busy trying to dig not-so secret tunnels in their kennel. Apparently, they have concocted some bit elaborate escape plan that they think I don’t know about. Hee hee hee *maniacal laughter*, I am so on to them!!!!
In short, life is crazy, my house is in dire need of a good deep cleaning and I really just need a little nap.
