No, I did not die

Obviously I have not written in a while. I told you that getting on a regular schedule would be difficult. It has been crazy of late, so just be happy I am even getting to it now.
The boating season is defintely right around the corner. We have had a few very nice warm days and probably could have had several rentals by now, but we just weren’t ready to get it going. Since my last post, several significant things have occurred. First of all Nikki has arrived! Nikki is the daughter of my dear friends Vaughn and DeDe. I have known V & D for 20 years. Vaughn was the best friend of my then boyfriend (Javier). Nikki was just about 6 months old when I meet them. It took us several years to become what I would consider “close” friends, especially when it comes to DeDe. I blame this on myself, because at the tender age of 17 (the age when I first meet them) I was a snobby, know it all, little bitch. I am still a bitch, but I am not so snobby and I know I have plenty to learn in life still. Any how, V & D have lived overseas (Air Force in Japan and England) for like over 10 years. I have kept in touch with them, because seriously, they have become my most favorite people in the world. We haven’t always been good about contacting each other on a regular basis, but when the contact is made, I always feel like it was just yesterday that I last talked to them. They are the god parents of Tal and even though it was never official, I also consider them the god parents of Lula as well. They are one of the only people on earth that I could totally trust the lives of my children with. Last year, they were kind enough to let me borrow their younger daughter, Nesha, as a nanny for the summer. I haven’t spent any kind of time with Nesha since she was 3, so it was really fun to get to know her as a young lady. Now Nikki is here to work for me this summer. She will be helping us rent out the boats and waverunners. It is funny because she kinda looks like Nesha, kinda looks like Vaughn and kinda looks like DeDe and her personality is the same way. I am loving getting to know her as an adult as well. She is really quite intelligent and I think I we will have lots of fun this summer.
The second this is that Zach is back. He has worked for us off and on for the past three years. I am not too happy about this, he drives me insane most of the time. I can see trouble a brewing!
Thirdly, my crazy ass husband has decided he wants to produce a porn film. I am not talking about some cheesy amatuer type deal. He wants to really do it up right. Sounds like fun to me. Obviously, we won’t be starring in it, stricly behind the scenes. Will have to wait and see how this all unfolds. Crazier things have happened.
